CFSC & CRFSC Ottawa (Bundle)

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The combined package of the Canadian Firearms Safety Course (CFSC) and the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) prepares students on the responsibilities of possessing and using non-restricted & restricted firearms, their safe use and handling as well as storage of firearms and ammunition.

YOU WILL LEARN

• Basic firearms safety practices
• Ammunition types and storage
• Operating firearm actions
• Safe handling procedures
• Responsibilities of the firearms owner/user
• Safe storage, display, transportation, and handling of firearms
• Minors who successfully complete the CFSC course can apply for a Minor’s Licence

PREREQUESITES

• Aged 18+ to apply for PAL with restricted privilege (R-PAL)
• Minors may take the CRFSC course for educational purposes only with parental consent.
• To apply for a PAL after the age of 18, students must retake the CRFSC course and pass the written and practical exams.

COURSE COST

The cost of the CFSC & CRFSC combined course & tests (per person) is $318.58 + HST = $360.00.

COURSE LOCATION

Our CFSC & CRFSC combined courses are held at our Oxford Station training facility, which is located at: 9149 Smith Road, Oxford Station, Ontario. K0G 1T0. SCHEDULING OPTIONS

Many of our “Combined” CFSC & CRFSC courses are available as a 2-day, 4-day or 5-evening option.  We offer courses during the midweek and/or on the weekends. Seating availability can change on daily basis, as seats are being sold and some of our course dates can sell out very quickly. To learn which course dates we have available at this time, please contact us, let us know which course you are interested in, and we will e-mail you a list of available course dates & times that you may choose from.

HOW TO REGISTER

Prior to registering for any course date with us, you will be provided with an “IFS-INFO Sheet to review. This document provides answers to the most commonly asked questions, and further explains the terms & conditions of registering for a course with us.

To purchase a seat in any of our CFSC and/or CRFSC course dates, a non-refundable deposit is required by E-transfer at time of booking.

Once your e-transfer has been received and processed, you will receive an e-mail informing you that your e-transfer was successfully completed, and that your seat in the class has been CONFIRMED.

Please allow up to 24-hours to receive your confirmation notice.

REFUNDS & RESCHEDULES

Similar to purchasing a concert ticket or any “reserved seating” event, please know that all seat sales are final. Should you miss your course date for any reason, you will not be entitled to receive a refund or reschedule of your course date. However, should you be unable to attend your course date for any reason, you are free to gift or transfer your seat reservation to another person.
